We are officially in the Mercury Retrograde Pre-shadow phase. Mercury Retrograde station happens on March 22, 2018 in Aries. It runs through April 14, 2018 and the post-shadow phase lasts until May 4, 2018. Mercury Retrograde is when it looks like Mercury is traveling opposite it’s normal direction on the astrological charts. We are predicting April 4th and 5th to be peak rough days of this retrograde.

Astrologically, Mercury is the planet that rules communication. When it goes retrograde, it is believed to affect electronics, transportation, decision making and communication.

We recommend being as clear as possible with all communication. We also recommend giving yourself extra time to get places and to practice patience.

Each Sun Sign has its own way of dealing with each Mercury Retrograde cycle. It’s normal for some signs to be more affected than others. However, this Mercury Retrograde is in Aries. When a Mercury Retrograde is in Aries, the energy is a little stronger. It’s likely to affect all star signs. The energy is likely to be even MORE unpredictable and volatile - even for a Mercury Retrograde.

Here are a few ideas to help you through the Mercury Retrograde:

Practice patience.
Give yourself extra time - Extra downtime AND extra time to travel.
Be creative - This is a time where you really may be able to show off your creative problem solving skills.
Take time to relax.
Don’t take it personally.
Take time to triple check any contracts before signing. (Or, wait to sign until after Mercury Retrograde.)
Stay positive.
If conflicts arise, take a step back. You might be inclined to really speak your mind, but with Aries ruling this retrograde, you really need to back off. Aries can make people likely to release frustrations. It might be better to take a step back and really evaluate the situation before speaking.

Of course, we have readers who would love to help you with any issues that may arise.
