If you’ve ever felt like your plans suddenly fall apart, your technology acts up, or miscommunications happen more often—there’s a good chance Mercury Retrograde is at work.

Happy Holidays and Merry Mercury Retrograde.  Mercury retrograde starts December 19, 2016 in Capricorn and backs up into Sagittarius by January 8, 2017.

This retrograde could make the holiday season much more interesting.  Travel delays, miscommunication, misunderstandings, equipment breakdowns, scheduling problems, relationship drama because of communication issues, lost items (track your gifts), and generally being out of sync might just make this holiday season a little more challenging that usual.

Here we go again!  We have a Mercury Retrograde starting on August 30, 2016 in Virgo and ending on September 22, 2016.  

Mercury in Astrology rules communications.  This means speaking, listening, setting schedules, purchases, sales, negotiations, computers, phones, contracts, car computers (breakdown here we come), travel plans, shipping and receiving, computer software, satellites, etc.  When Mercury Retrogrades, chaos may ensue.

Oh joy!  Mercury is going into Retrograde on April 28 - May 22, 2016.  It will be in Taurus.  Taurus is a strong, stubborn and fixed sign.

A Mercury Retrograde starts on September 17, 2015 and goes direct on October 9, 2015.  To add to the fun there will be a solar eclipse on September 13th and a lunar eclipse on September 27th which might have some influence on this retrograde.  These additional factors should highlight romance and relationships. This generally means that your relationships should improve - allowing serenity and balance to prevail.

Mercury will go into retrograde from May 18th through June 11th in 2015.  This retrograde takes place in Gemini.  Gemini by its very nature is generally prominent in communication.  A Mercury in Retrograde in Gemini may be very interesting indeed.  A retrograde usually is a good time to reflect on what has happened in order to truly understand what has been going on in your life.  Look at this as an opportunity to relax and examine the meaning of life.  A Mercury Retrograde is generally not a good time to start something new.

The last retrograde for 2014 takes place in Scorpio from October 4th through October 26th.  The usual warnings apply.  Do not start anything new.  Double check anything and everything that involves communication.  If you are traveling, double check your itinerary.  Back up your computer.  Make sure to check the engine light on your vehicle.  Make sure you verify all appointments a couple of times.  Be careful of your cell phone.  Make sure you do not send out a mass email that was intended for only one person.
