Every Tarot Card deck has 78 cards; however, the most important of these cards are what is called the Major Arcana cards, which comprise of only 22 cards out of the 78, and which help us with an initial understanding of Tarot meanings.

In Latin Major Arcana means "big secret" - these cards deal with the human condition with each card representing sorrows and joys that every person will experience throughout their life. This amazing human drama is illustrated in great detail throughout the 22 Major Arcana Tarot Cards.

These particular cards are not easy to interpret, if they were everyone would be a Tarot Reader; however, an understanding of the Major Arcana cards can help gain a better understanding of the system for personal insight, as you should know that the cards are really a reflection of your life.
