2019 - Year of the Pig

The 2019 Chinese New Year runs February 5th through February 19th. 2019 is The Chinese New Year of the Pig. The Chinese people celebrate the New Year on different dates every year. This celebration is also called The Spring Festival. Ancestors are honored, homes are celebrated, and deities are honored. The Festival includes lots of noise, parades, dragons, and plenty of great food.

Those born the Year of the Pig were born in 1947, 1959, 1971 1983, 1995, 2017 and 2019. Supposedly, the Jade Emperor chose the order of the Chinese Astrological animals in a group of twelve. He hosted a great party and put the animals in place using the order that was determined by when the anima showed up at his party. Rumor has it that the pig ended up in last place because he overslept.

The Year of the Pig is usually a positive year - for people born under different Chinese Astrological Signs. Sadly, people born in Pig Years should pay close attention to what is going on around them - particularly where money is involved. Pig Year people should also avoid fighting with other people, watch their emotional responses, avoid risky investments, and use caution regarding relationship or career changes. The Chinese New Year f the Pig runs from February 5, 2019 and ends on January 24, 2020.

People born the year of the Pig are generally thoughtful, kind, generous, don’t like conflict, and are usually laid back. They are also thought to be somewhat lazy. The Chinese New Year of the Pig should generally be positive for everyone except people born the years of the Pig. Chinese Astrology dictates that every twelve years, people born under that sign should pay close attention to their behavior and make adjustments.

People born the Year of The Pig may be vulnerable, because they are kind and optimistic. When you combine optimism and good will with laziness, Pigs might find themselves vulnerable to the machinations of others that may cheat or harm them.

As for those born under different Chinese Astrological Signs, The Year of The Pig should provide opportunities for great love relationships that may come and go without acrimony. Passionate relationships could emerge that might be somewhat short-lived. You should remember to enjoy the passion, but realize that this love connection might not last forever. It would probably be a good idea to protect yourself.

Family life should be wonderful this year and provide many opportunities for coming together with those you love. It may provide chances for people to connect on a loving, personal level despite past differences. Family life will probably be a cornerstone during the Year of the Pig.
