How does a reader develop psychic skills?  I get asked this numerous times throughout the week.  Here is a general response, although every psychic reader develops skills differently so please feel free to ask them!  – Renee
Many psychics learn how to tune into their higher selves through using their intuition.  They hone their ability by listening to their intuition, meditation, and their higher self in order to tune into another person’s energy and give a psychic reading.  There are many different ways to give psychic readings.  Some readers are strictly clairvoyant, some are clairvoyant with tarot cards, some readers are mediums.  The best way to become an excellent psychic reader is to do as many readings as possible for as many different types of people as possible.  Hands on is the way to become excellent and to gain enough experience to work on our psychic phone reading line.

Tuning into one’s higher self is critical to help tune into other people and spirits.  This is why meditation is key to developing psychic ability.  Finding an inner calm before allowing your consciousness to pick up on another person’s energy helps in giving a good reading.  When a reader first starts reading for clients and friends, he or she may use a number of different tools to help guide the reading.  A reader may use intuition, astrology, spirit guides, or tarot cards – or all of the above!

2012 is upon us. We want to wish you a bright and wonderful new year.

What does 2012 have in store?  This is the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac.   The Dragon is the only animal featured in the Chinese Zodiac that is not real.  This year is very special.  Chinese Astrology is generally based on real animals.

The Chinese New Year starts January 23rd.  Spring is the main association of the Dragon.  As a result of that association, there will probably be a turn toward good fortune or a positive change that may start soon after the new year.  Be ready.  The dynamic Dragon may generate fireworks with a new love or the sudden rekindling of an old love.   Finances may improve.  Projects may come into fruition.

This is the year of the Water Dragon.  It ends a 60 year unfavorable cycle that inhibited good luck.  Hopefully, things will improve for everyone.  Also, this is a Yang year.  This means that things will move.  Creativity will win out.  It looks like there will probably be a turn around.  The Year of the Dragon should prove to be anything but dull.

So, you have your eye on someone!  Is he interested?  New love is exciting.  The person is the first thing you think of in the morning.  You smile and your face lights up at the mention of his name.  You feel like you are about to receive the best present of your life.   Does your love interest feel the same?

Do you catch your love interest watching you?  Does he look away quickly when you catch him looking at you?  When you make eye contact, does your prospective lover hold your gaze for an extra second.  Does his face light up when you made a connection? 

Pay attention.  Does your love interest change behavior when you approach?  Some people become clumsy or awkward.  Some show off.  Some people get really quiet.  Does your interest focus (however briefly) totally on you? 

If your love interest points his/her chest and shoulders at you while talking, it may be an indication that you are important.  Watch for the eyebrow shimmer.  Your love interest may raise and lower his eyebrows with lightning speed.  You have to be diligent to see this.

Does your love interest hang his hand from his belt, look you in the eye, face you directly and light up?    Does he stand with his legs slightly apart while he faces you directly?  Try to discreetly pay attention to the clues he may be providing.

When seated or standing, do his toes point inward?  This may be a sign of insecurity. Perhaps some reassurance is in order.  Watch for a head tilt when your eyes make contact.  This may indicate that he is ready for you to approach.   

Body language may provide clues to how someone feels.  However, these subtle signals can be confusing.  Should you make a move or not?  Nurturing a new relationship is very important and needs to be handled with care.  If you move too fast, your interest may be scared off.  If you ignore him, he may assume that you are not interested.  What to do, what to do.
