On the topic of being green.  Including your children in the process of going Green can be a fun and an entertaining way to spend time together. Make your own Play-Doh that is chemical free! Much better for the environment and your kids. This recipe calls for common ingredients typically found in every kitchen.

What you’ll need:

* 1 Large Bowl for mixing
* 1 cup Salt
* 1 1/4 cups Warm Water
* 3 cups Flour
* Food Coloring (optional)
* Mixing Spoon
* Air Tight Container
* Refrigerator

How to make it:

1. Pour 1 cup salt into large bowl.
2. Add 1 1/4 cups warm water, mix well
3. Add 3 cups flour, mix well some more
4. Add food coloring and knead into ball
5. Seal in an air tight container and refrigerate overnight for best results

There you have it. Simple and fast to make and will serve to fuel creative minds for hours without toxins or chemicals. An eco-friendly craft is a great way to pass the hours while the kids are off school for holiday break. Enjoy.
